Our Story
Watch Your Fingers is a neighbourhood French pâtisserie in Constitution Hill, creating pies, pastries, macarons, gateaux, tarts and breads with an emphasis on handmade quality and freshness. Since opening in 2015, the pâtisserie has developed a loyal local following for its colourful macarons, distinctive seasonal creations and generous range of freshly baked savouries. Everything is prepared by hand, because when it is made carefully by hand, it simply tastes better.
The name comes from a bit of shop humour — a reminder, tongue firmly in cheek, that fingers and fresh macarons don't always mix well together. It's stuck ever since, and it says a lot about the spirit of the place: warm, a little playful, and proud to be part of the neighbourhood.
Everything you'll find in the cabinet — pies, savouries, macarons, cakes and tarts — is prepared by hand on the premises. No shortcuts, just quality ingredients and a genuine love of good food.
